North Korean leader Kim Jong-un oversaw a drill whereby a super-large multiple rocket launcher was used to fire two projectiles on Tuesday, according to a news bulletin on North Korea state television in Pyongyang on Wednesday.

According to the stills released by North Korea state media (NKTV), Kim supervised the missiles being launched and visited the launch site in an unspecified location before and after the test launch.

The launch came hours after North Korea has announced its intentions to resume talks with the US.
