New York City hospitals are storing the bodies of coronavirus victims in street trailers, Friday, April 3, as the largest U.S. city is being hit hard by the virus.

Medical personnel wore personal protective equipment to remove a body from the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in the Brooklyn borough of New York, as hospitals fill up with COVID-19 patients.

Bodies are being loaded onto refrigerated morgue trucks by gurney and forklift outside overwhelmed hospitals, in full view of passing motorists. (AP)
