According to a report by Newser, the man accused of killing a star Iowa State University golfer on Monday was ordered held on a 5 million-dollar cash only bond. Prosecutors reportedly said that the crime which took Celia Barquin Arozamena's life was a 'random act of violence.' The Des Moines Register reports that the 22-year old's body was found in a pond, and that she had been stabbed multiple times in the head, neck, and upper torso. Per the AP, Ames Police Commander Geoff Huff said, "It's still very troubling for something like this to happen in broad daylight in a community that is as safe as Ames is."
