At least four people have refused to leave the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC after at least 35 days inside, though police have warned they are trespassing on embassy property.

The activists have been living inside the embassy because they consider Nicolas Maduro as the legitimate president of Venezuela.

Carlos Vecchio, the new ambassador to Washington designated by Opposition leader Juan Guaido, requested U.S. assistance in clearing the building.

There have also been supporters of Guaido outside the building, demanding the eviction of the activists.
