When news broke of the college admissions scam, actress Lori Loughlin's daughter was vacationing in the Bahamas, Business Insider reports.

Olivia Giannulli was on a University of Southern California trustee's yacht when news broke that her parents had been indicted as part of the scandal.

Giannulli, a USC freshman, was reportedly spending spring break with the daughter of Rick Caruso, chairman of the USC Board of Trustees.

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were two of 50 people indicted in the cash-for-college scam.

Prosecutors said involved parents paying up to $6 million in bribes to get their children into elite colleges.

Loughlin and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters, Olivia and Isabella, into USC.

Olivia, Caruso, and Caruso's daughter, Gianna, were not accused of any wrongdoing in the case.
