Live from outside Saint-Sulpice church in Paris on Monday, September 30, as political leaders pay their respects to former French President Jacques Chirac, who died at the age of 86 on September 26.
French President Emannuel Macron and his counterparts from Russia, Vladimir Putin, Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Italy, Sergio Mattarella, are expected to be in attendance.
Prime Ministers Viktor Orban, of Hungary, Saad Hariri, from Lebanon, and Charles Michel of Belgium are also expected, as well as European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
Chirac served as the President of France from 1995 to 2007. He was also the Prime Minister between 1974-1976 and 1986-1988, as well as the Mayor of Paris.
