The Hong Kong police are holding a news conference after weekend protests.

Over the weekend, the police arrested three males on suspicion of testing explosives in Tuen Mun. Meanwhile, protesters gathered at Shatin New Town Plaza and damaged shops as well as blocked the entrances and staircases. Someone hurled a smoke bomb at the bus terminus outside Exit A of Shatin MTR Station. Some radical protesters gathered in Mongkok, set debris ablaze, obstructed roads with bricks and spray painted the windscreens of buses. The police condemn the reckless acts of the protesters, appeal to them to stay rational and stop all illegal violence. #HongKong
