Ruptly is live outside Westminster Magistrates Court in London on Monday, October 21, as supporters of Julian Assange gather next to the building while the whistleblower takes part in a hearing inside.

Assange has been ordered to appear before the court in person. The 48-year old WikiLeaks' founder has been held in custody at Belmarsh prison in London since being dragged out of Ecuador’s embassy last April. He is currently fighting extradition to the US where he may face up to 175 years in jail if convicted of all charges against him.
