The Libyan Health Ministry said that one child and two women were wounded in an airstrike in the town of Tajoura, east of Tripoli on Saturday. Footage shows smoke billowing over the residential area as well as buildings and cars damaged in the attack.
Officials from the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) blamed the forces of Libyan National Army (LNA), led by General Khalifa Haftar, for the incident. The LNA has not commented on the attack so far.
The LNA, which controls Eastern Libya, launched an offensive on April 4, in an attempt to take control of the capital Tripoli.
