Digital Trends reports that automakers Kia Motors and Hyundai have issued a recall of more than a half million vehicles in the U.S. The massive callback is due to issues that could result in an engine fire. The largest portion of the recall affects nearly 380,000 Kia Soul vehicles, all with 1.6-liter engines, built between 2012 and 2016. Nearly 32,000 Kia Sportage SUVs made between 2011 and 2012 are being recalled, as well as 123,000 Hyundai Tucson vehicles made between 2011 and 2013. Kia and Hyundai owners are encouraged to contact the auto manufacturers customer service line with any questions.
