A Russian Soyuz carrier rocket with the Progress MS-13 resupply spacecraft successfully lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Friday.

The spaceship is to deliver 2.7 tonnes of cargo, including food, fuel and supplies for the crew aboard the International Space station (ISS).

The Progress MS-13 resupply vessel is to depart the space station in July 2020 with a load of trash to be burned up in the atmosphere.
