Jack Letts, a former citizen of the UK, says he wants to persuade other Muslims not to be lured into joining extremist terror groups.

He told Sky News he does not care about being stripped of his British citizenship, because he would not want to live in a country governed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

He added he believed that if he had 'learned Islam properly' then he would not be in Syria.

His parents were spared jail in 2019, receiving suspended sentences after being found guilty of funding terrorism for sending their son £223.
