Derrick Rose is the first player since Jamal Mashburn (42 PTS for Mavs in 1995, 50 PTS for New Orleans in 2003) to go 7 years between 40 points games. Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 26 points and 5 assists in the losing effort. With the win the Timberwolves improve to 4-4, while the Jazz fall to 4-3.
