A ceremony has taken place to mark the 50th anniversary of the Jabidah massacre on Corregidor Island in the Philippines.

Local leaders say because the Jabidah massacre of Muslim Filipinos remains unresolved, peace talks between the government and armed groups in the southern region of Mindanao are not moving forward.
