Former Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery received a warm welcome from the press and fans on his arrival to Florence ahead of his free transfer to ACF Fiorentina on Wednesday.

The Frenchman came out wearing the Italian club's traditional purple and a club scarf before signing autographs and posing for selfies.

Ribery has enjoyed an impressive career winning nine Bundesliga titles, the Champions League and appearing in the 2006 World Cup final. He left Bayern a club legend after 12 years of service in Munich.
