Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was confident his team would beat Lazio to the Coppa Italia, when speaking at a press conference in Rome on Tuesday ahead of the big event on Wednesday night.

"I believe we do have our chances," Gasperini told reporters.

"In this championship we managed to win against important teams, including Lazio, and tomorrow evening, as much as it's a difficult match, it is a match in our league," he added.

For his part, Lazio head coach Simone Inzaghi said his side were used to these kind of high-pressure games, especially given that they are playing at their home ground.

"We have the luck of having many players in the team who already played important games and we need to get there clear-headed, self-conscious, because we know we have this kind of games in our DNA and we need to play it in the best way," Inzaghi argued.

The Coppa Italia final kicks off in Rome's Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday at 20:45 local time (18:45 GMT).
