Reuters reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has secured his path to re-election. Despite a close race with main centrist challenger Benny Gantz, religious-right parties are set to hand Netanyahu a parliamentary majority. With more than 97 percent of votes counted, Netanyahu’s conservative Likud party will likely be able to gain enough support to control 65 of the Knesset’s 120 seats and be named to head the next coalition government. This will be Netanyahu's 5th term.
