Iran: Heavy floods hit Iran's northeast

Heavy rains followed by flash floods hit the northeast of Iran, disrupting electricity, gas and flooding buildings as footage from Razavi Khorasan province aired on Iranian TV on Sunday shows.

A truck was seen being taken away by a flash flood, with cars struggling to drive on flooded roads.

At least 50 buildings were damaged with people trying to clean floors from dirt and water.

At least 76 people have reportedly been killed in floods across Iran since March 19, with the northeast of the country being the first area affected.
