Huawei promises not to spy on the UK

The Chinese tech giant Huawei has taken the rare step of offering to sign "non-spying" agreements to fight off fears that it could be a national security threat to countries which use its technology.

Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning all American companies from using the firm.

Huawei is set to play a role in Britain's 5G future but the firm's UK vice president told Sky News he will go the "extra mile" to prove it is a secure option.
