Many pet parents are becoming increasingly worried about their furry friends contracting the new coronavirus.
The World Health Organization has said there is no meaningful evidence that your pooch can spread the virus.
Experts say it is unlikely that your pet is carrying the virus on their fur, but reccomend washing your hands after you pet them.
They also suggest bathing your dog or cat more frequently than you normally would and avoiding kisses and snuggles.
If you are exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus, the CDC suggests limiting contact with your pets.
HuffPost reports it's ok to take your pet for a walk, but experts warn to keep your distance from other animals.
