Doctors and nurses at Hong Kong's Queen Mary Hospital gathered to protest against police brutality on Tuesday.
Several protesters wore an eye patch on the right eye in solidarity with a woman who was reportedly shot in the same place by police with a beanbag round on Sunday, blinding her permanently.
Protests have been taking place in Hong Kong since the end of March. Demonstrators are calling for the total withdrawal of a suspended bill that would allow the extradition of the city's residents to mainland China for trials. They also want Hong Kong's chief executive Carrie Lam resign and police actions investigated.
