Honduras' President Juan Orlando Hernandez met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, Jan. 1, over a possible embassy move for the Central American nation to Jerusalem.

The two leaders met in Brazil at the sidelines of the inauguration of Brazil's new far-right President Jair Bolsonaro.

According to local media, Honduras is prepared to move its embassy to Jerusalem, following the United States and Guatemala's move from Tel Aviv.
