As Venezuela marks the five year anniversary of the death of Hugo Chavez, his successor is vying for another six years in office. On Friday, President Nicolas Maduro signed a pact with opposition candidates to respect the results of the presidential election now scheduled for May. Since the fall of crude oil prices in 2013, Venezuela has been in an economic free-fall.Tonight’s panel takes a look at the economic crisis, mass migration and the international response in just a moment: Dany Bahar is a Venezuelan economist and a fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution.
