Harriet Harman: 'I'll bring robustness'

MP Harriet Harman says she put her name forward to succeed John Bercow as she believes she would bring a 'modern' touch and 'robustness'.

Ms Harman said she is also looking forward to potentially being the 'second' female speaker in the house and believes her appointment would set a 'modern' example both in the UK and worldwide.
