The Bayern Munich squad is focused and "totally motivated" ahead of Saturday's title-deciding game against Eintracht Frankfurt, the club's head coach Niko Kovac told journalists at a news conference in Munich on Thursday. Avoiding defeat would be enough for Bayern to win their seventh consecutive Bundesliga title.
"There are some incidental things that are not really interesting to me, because I have a task. I'm looking forward to the task, the boys are looking forward to it. We can become champions. That means we have to focus and we also have to put focus on the game on Saturday," said the Bayern manager.
His team faces yet another important game - the German Cup final against RB Leipzig on May, 25. But Kovac said all thoughts are now on the game against Frankfurt, rather than on speculation about his future at the club.
