A 28-year old man of dual Russian-German citizenship suspected of orchestrating the Borussia Dortmund (BVB) bus attack was detained in Tuebingen's district of Rottenburg am Neckar, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Friday, Germany's chief prosecutor has confirmed.

The investigators reportedly ruled out a terrorist attack, claiming that the suspect allegedly carried out the attack in a bid to gain profit from a decline in the football club's shares.

On April 11, three explosive devices went off near the bus carrying the Borussia Dortmund team as the vehicle was about to leave to the stadium for the Champions League quarter-final home game with AS Monaco.
