German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas welcomed Kosovo's Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli in Berlin on Thursday, where they talked about Kosovo's European Union integration process.

"There are still many things left in the areas of state constitution, corruption and organised crime," Mass said, adding that these topics are "important to follow through on Kosovo's process of entering the European Union slowly."

Pacolli pointed out that Kosovo "has not yet fully completed the process of building a government" and that it needs Germany's "help and engagement" when it comes to EU integration.

He added that "Kosovo is on a good path" since the country opened up a peace dialogue with Serbia, and is now working on entering "the European-Transatlantic Structures and United Nations."
