German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel warned of the possibility that anti-Semitism might grow in Europe, at the opening of a new exhibition about the Holocaust, in Berlin on Monday.

“In light of globalisation, many people are anxious here in Germany and Europe, the island of the blessed, so-to-say. And that is why anti-Semitism can grow, on the basis of nationalism and xenophobia providing man-power to corresponding parties and movements," Gabriel told visitors at the inauguration of the exhibition - entitled ‘Beyond Duty.'
