Bayern Munich won their 12th domestic double after beating RB Leipzig in the DFB Pokal final on Sunday.
The winning team's coach Niko Kovac thanked the fans for sticking by him during difficult periods earlier in the season.
"I was asked to say a few words to the fans and I thanked them on behalf of the team for keeping us on our toes during the difficult time of October November. That we managed to get out of this crisis together," Kovac told reporters at a post-match press conference in Berlin's Olympiastadion.
"They proved that just in the last match against Eintracht and also today," he added.
Bayern went ahead through Robert Lewandowski, before Kingsley Coman doubled the lead in the second half. Lewandowski then added a late third to round off the victory.
Bayern were crowned Bundesliga champions for the seventh successive season last Saturday.
Success in the DFB Pokal means Niko Kovac has led Bayern to a domestic double in his first season in charge, one year after beating them in the final when he managed Eintracht Frankfurt.
