A group of protesters calling themselves the 'Black Vests', protested in Paris on Saturday, against a police intervention against the group on July 13, when they occupied the Panthenon to protest against possible future deportations.

"The Black Vests were repressed [in the Pantheon], brutal repression whose main objective was to break a mobilisation and remind immigrants without identity papers that they have no rights in France, that we can exploit them, make them work almost free of charge, the largest companies can employ people without identity papers, and that everyone can use the 'beast'," said Valerie, member of 'La Chappelle Debout!' a group of activists fighting for undocumented migrants rights.

The protesters also exhibited numerous placards and posters calling for rights of undocumented migrants.
