According to authorities in Orlando, a lone gunman returned to a factory he was fired from in April and killed five people.
When the sound of an approaching siren came into earshot, the gunman killed himself.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings added that the 45-year-old was an Army veteran who lived alone.
Sheriff Demings stated the shooting began early in the morning when John Robert Neumann Jr. entered the rear door of the factory and methodically shot his victims in the head.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
