The first group of 34 patients diagnosed with the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) were cured and discharged from the temporary hospitals in Wuhan City, central China's Hubei Province on Tuesday.

Among the 34 patients, six were discharged from Jianghan Fangcang Hospital and 28 from Wuchang Fangcang Hospital. The first patient among the group to be admitted to the hospital was on February 6, while the last one was admitted on February 9. The youngest in the group is 25 and the oldest is 69.

The city has converted existing public venues, including the Hongshan Gymnasium and the Wuhan International Conference and Exhibition Center, into temporary hospitals to meet the needs of infected patients with mild symptoms.!language=1
