A toddler required the help of six firefighters to remove his arm from a toy dispenser after he got his hand stuck in a vending machine on Thursday in Sihong County of east China's Jiangsu Province.
The baby's parents said the accident occurred in a hospital when they left the baby alone to get medicine. After attempts to remove his arm failed, the parents immediately called the local fire department for help.
Six firefighters quickly arrived and disassembled the toy dispenser. Ten minutes later, they were able to remove the child's hand.
Local medical authorities said that the toddler suffered no major injuries. It's unclear if the child was able to go home with any of the toys he was so desperately reaching for.
