According to Automotive News, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will recall thousands of 2018 Chrysler Pacifica minivans.

FCA said the recall involves over 47,000 vehicles produced between Nov. 1, 2017, and March 1, 2018.

The majority of the minivans were sold in the United States, but some of the affected vehicles were sold in Canada, Mexico, and markets outside North America.

FCA added they found a glitch that affects minivans with steering-system joints, which can separate under certain circumstances, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
