Tesla unveiled the eagerly anticipated Model Y on Thursday evening. Business Insider reports that CEO Elon Musk said he anticipates the new Model Y SUV crossover will outsell the Model S, Model X, and Model 3 combined. Musk told the crowd at the Hawthorne, California event; "I think it's really compelling. I'm confident that of any mid-sized SUV, it will be the one you want".Tesla has begun to take orders for the long-range and Performance versions of the Model Y. Customers can place their orders on the company's website for a deposit of $2,500.
