At least 19 people were killed and 32 were injured in a car explosion following a collision close to the National Cancer Institute in Cairo on Sunday.
Footage shows the aftermath of the explosion, with burnt-out cars, damaged buildings and first responders on the scene.
“We took out a number of charred bodies…the victims include children. The firefighters arrived very late and I don't know why," said one witness, Mohamed Ahmed.
According to reports, the blast occurred when one car drove against traffic, and collided with three other cars.
Investigators are still determining the identity of the driver, and the cause of the incident, and there has reportedly been no official statement claiming that explosion was an attack.
