Venezuelan migrants arrived at the Colombian border to Ecuador, footage from Wednesday and Thursday shows, in an attempt to reach Peru before June 15, after which a humanitarian visa will be required to enter the country.

Carrion commented on the situation in Venezuela and said: "Guaido took the interim presidency and I trusted he would take out the corrupt government we have now but it did not go that way. It got late and this Saturday I decided to leave my country since we lost all hope in Venezuela. Venezuela is totally destroyed."
According to the United Nations, more than 4 million Venezuelans have left their country due to the economic crisis in recent years.
