Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade visited Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School.

It is the site of the recent school shooting in Florida. 17 people were killed.

Wade received a warm welcome, but he told students that they're the real heroes.

He said, "I just wanted to come and say I'm inspired by all of you ... As someone out here in the public eye I'm proud to say I'm from this state because of you guys and because of the future of this world."

Wade says that he wants to be more involved with the students, to help facilitate change.
