The DPRK Foreign Ministry has denounced the upcoming military drills between the United States and the Republic of Korea, saying they would impact proposed working-level nuclear talks between Pyongyang and Washington. According to DPRK state media, Pyongyang will be watching the "next move by the U.S." before it decides how to proceed on the talks. Last month, U.S. President Donald Trump and DPRK Leader Kim Jong Un agreed at a short meeting in the Demilitarized Zone to resume stalled denuclearization talks.
