A 53 metre-tall smokestack and a slightly smaller 46 metre-tall water tower came crashing to the ground in Bayonne, New Jersey on November 30.

A controlled implosion was conducted, taking just a few seconds for both structures to end up laying on the ground.

Both structures were part of the former Military Ocean Terminal, which according to reports, will be used for a new logistics center.

Bayonne mayor Jimmy Davis said the new facility will produce almost 2,700 jobs.
