Reuters reports that residents of Dayton, Ohio are picking up the pieces after a tornado pounded the city on Monday. The storm destroyed everything in its path and injured at least 35 people. Elizabeth Long, a spokeswoman for the Kettering Health Network told reporters; “We’ve had injuries ranging from lacerations to bumps and bruises from folks being thrown around in their houses due to the storms". At least two other tornadoes touched down near the city, including one near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, just east of the city.
