Cuba Gets Free Internet For A Day

Cuba’s government said it provided free internet to the approximately 5 million cell phone users on Tuesday on the island in an eight-hour test. Reuters reports the Communist government is planning to launch sales of the service. State-run telecommunications monopoly ETECSA announced the trial. Tuesday marked the first time internet services were available nationwide in Cuba. The government has not yet said how much most Cubans would pay for mobile internet.
