Court Rules On Police Use Of Biometrics

According to Tech World news a judge has ruled on the police use of biometrics.

A federal judge in California said authorities can't force people to unlock their biometrically secured phones or other devices.

Magistrate Judge Kandis A. Westmore wrote in an opinion for the U.S. District Court for Northern California.

He ruled that the government cannot compel suspects to use their biometrics.
