Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos announced his government reached an agreement with the country’s second-largest guerrilla group, the National Liberation Army (ELN), calling for a temporary bilateral ceasefire.

The two sides launched peace talks after the Santos government signed a definitive peace deal with Colombia’s largest guerrilla group, the FARC, which has since disarmed.
