Riot police used tear gas to disperse crowds in Bogota on Saturday, as anti-government protests continued for the third day in a row.

The protests followed an overnight curfew, which was imposed in the capital on Friday. A large military presence was maintained on Saturday, with soldiers assisting the police in a joint patrolling of the streets.

On Thursday, more than 250,000 people joined a march amid rumoured economic reforms and growing frustration with the government of Colombian President Ivan Duque. At least three people reportedly died in Thursday's violence.
