US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Colombian President Ivan Duque visited a warehouse used to store humanitarian aid for Venezuela in the Colombian border town of Cucuta, on Sunday.

"Getting this aid into Venezuela is a whole another story because Nicolas Maduro refuses to accept it, he refuses to allow to this aid to get across," said Pompeo during a joint presser with Duque.

"The re-establishment of the freedom in Venezuela is a moral duty," said Duque on his part.

This was the last stop for Pompeo’s three-day trip to the region which saw him visit Chile, Paraguay and Peru as well.
