El Dorado International Airport in the Colombian capital, Bogota was being converted into a shelter
for passengers on Monday. The preparations were made as travel restrictions are expected to come into effect in Colombia on Wednesday.
The travellers who were unable to leave the country due to cancellations and coronavirus-related delays will be quarantined in the airport.
Footage shows airport workers setting up beds while soldiers patrol the building.
Colombia has reported 277 cases of coronavirus, with three deaths since the outbreak began.
