Chinese premier meets UN chief

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Bangkok. Li said China will continue supporting multilateralism and is ready to work more with the UN, particularly when it comes to meeting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Guterres also commended China's work and said the international community must avoid any situation that causes separation and creates two systems and sets of rules. He added that the UN Secretariat is supportive of China's Belt and Road Initiative.
