Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in Tajikistan, kicking off a three-nation tour to promote free trade and investment for an open global economy. His itinerary also includes stops in the Netherlands and Belgium. He will attend a leaders' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Tajik capital Dushanbe. Li will then fly to Europe, for an official visit to the Netherlands, and attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting in Brussels. Prior to his visit to Tajikistan, a Tajik newspaper published an open letter by the Chinese premier. In it, he called on the two countries to continue to build trust, promote cooperation and safeguard regional peace and stability.
