The third batch of anti-epidemic supplies onboard planes from China arrived in Algiers, the capital city of Algeria, on Thursday night to help the North African nation fight against COVID-19.

The supplies include 5 million surgical masks, 560,000 N95 masks, 15,000 nucleic acid test kits, 100,000 diagnosis equipment and 15,000 surgical gloves and protective suits.

They were carried by two military planes of the Algerian air force, together with donations by Algerian Embassy and Algerian people in China.

Chinese Ambassador to Algeria Li Lianhe, Algerian Vice Minister for Pharmaceutical Industry Lotfi Djamel Benbahmed and other Algerian officials were on hand at the airport to receive the supplies.!language=1
